We are glad you asked! Our Director of Expansion continually looks for desirable campuses on which to establish new chapters. Factors that contribute to such desirability are administrative support toward Greeks, passion for academic excellence and community service, and sufficient number of interested students to support. We welcome and encourage members from divergent backgrounds who can bring a special dimension to our sisterhood, not only to the members of their chapter, but to the national perspective as well. Every college or university has different rules and procedures for establishing sororities so your best and first contact should be the Greek Affairs office on your campus.

Expansion is an important development of the Sorority. It links the past with the future and is necessary for the maintenance of a healthy and balanced national organization. Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority, Inc. does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, disability or national origin. We welcome women of every color and creed to be a part of our organization provided they meet our high standards in the areas of character, academics and leadership potential.

In 1990, thirteen young women had a common goal to unite members academically, socially and professionally in lifelong sisterhood and to instill in them a spirit of mutual respect and helpfulness, thus they created our beloved Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority.

We strive to continue our Founders' original dream of making Alpha Pi Sigma membership available to women on college campuses across the country so that they may have an Alpha Experience. To find out how to start a chapter, please contact our Director of Expansion at  expansion@alphapisigma.org.

Good luck and best wishes!
